Jamie Beland
Jamie (not James) is the firm’s CILEX Paralegal (ACILEX). He is studying to become a CILEX Lawyer – which is like a solicitor but without the pomposity!
Jamie works particularly closely with the Family Law team and often attends court and acts as an essential assistant to the partners.
Being the youngest member of the firm (by a long way) he is inevitably involved in the firm’s social media production, fixing IT hiccoughs and explaining why Millenials don’t wear watches. Really, it’s a thing! His ever-present astonishment at the older generation keeps the rest of the firm properly grounded.
Jamie started his training at the renowned Oxford firm of Blake Morgan and has brought with him a wealth of experience which he utilises effectively for Fenton Elliott.
Outside work Jamie enjoys attending concerts and the theatre and often brings his gentle Spaniel, Lexi, to the office.
